Apprenticeships provide a pathway for people to gain a nationally recognised qualification while working, experiencing on the job training and mentoring. It’s a great way to combine education with work and you even get paid while you learn. Australian School Based Apprenticeships allow for students to undertake a traineeship from as early as year 10, while they are still at school.
The Australian Government website, Australian Apprenticeships summarises the array of information available on training options for people wishing to enter the poultry industry or for employers who are interested in employing people.
