Qualifications
Dr Fairbrother has B.Sc from The University of New South Wales and a PhD in food science from Ohio State University. Jeff was given an AM in 2008 for service to the poultry industry through research and advisory roles, and the development of regulatory policies on animal health and welfare and food safety standards.
Areas of expertise
Jeff has many areas of expertise, including animal biosecurity, food safety and agricultural politics.
