Before you decide to raise commercial poultry, it is essential to examine closely the possibilities of making a profit, otherwise the venture is a waste of time. You must gather as much information as possible. The information will also will form the basis of a business plan which is most important if you want to borrow money. From this information, you can carry out calculations which will show you where the weaknesses and strengths are in a poultry enterprise. First, do I have a reliable market or buyer?
