Introduction:
This bulletin presents final estimates, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB), for the production years 2003 through 2007. Final estimates included in this publication were published in calendar years 2003-2007 in annual ASB reports.
Procedures:
Revisions were made after a thorough review of the original survey data and all additional data now available, including the 2007 Census of Agriculture. The 2003-2007 estimates shown herein are considered final and will not be revised again.

Brazil: Chicken & Egg Production in 2008
2008 saw Brazil's chicken production rise at a rate of 11.5%, meaning that in the year 2008 Brazil processed 4.875 billion chickens. Though not as high as chicken production egg production rose by 5.3% with a grand total of 2.280 million dozen eggs produced.

Ukraine egg production
In 2008 the Ukraine produced 14.9 billion eggs which demonstrated a steady 6.2% increase in egg production. As of the beginning of 2009 poultry numbers were recorded as being 177 million head compared to the 184 million head in 2008.
