Background
Over 40 years experience working with the poultry industry working as a veterinarian in government, university and poultry companies. Doctorate in microbiology. Author of 30 refereed scientific publications. Private consultancy to the poultry industry has operated since December 1999 with veterinary input into health programmes, flock productivity, biosecurity programs and procedures, exotic disease contingency plans, vaccine testing and registration, quality assurance, teaching, registration of veterinary medicines, research, food safety and importation of poultry biologics. Consultancies have been undertaken in Australia and a number of overseas countries.
