Help:Create a user account and log-in
From Poultry Hub
Setting up a user account
Before you can begin contributing articles or editing information on the Poultry Hub, you’ll need a user account and password, so you can log-in to the site.
Just follow these few simple steps. From the Poultry Hub homepage (or any other page on the site);
- Click on Log in/Create account in the top right hand corner of your screen
- If you haven’t logged in before, click on the "Create an account" link now
- To create an account, enter a memorable username and password and click the "Create account" button.
Entering your real name is optional.
TIP: It’s a good idea to also enter your e-mail address and to tick the checkbox "Remember my login on this computer".
TIP: Copy from the User Template to easily create a user page of your own.
By including your e-mail address here, your password can be sent to you if you should lose or forget it. You can also take advantage of wiki e-mail notification features like "anonymous e-mailing" which allows you to communicate with other Poultry Hub users without revealing your information to spammers.
Log-in
Again, from the Poultry Hub homepage (or any other page on the site);
- Click on Log in/Create account in the top right hand corner of your screen
- Enter your username and password here and then click the "Log in" button.
You will now be logged-in and can begin interacting with the Poultry Hub website. To return to the page you were viewing before you logged-in, simply click on the highlighted link.
You're now ready to start editing articles in Poultrypedia or creating them from scratch. Be bold. Don't be afraid of making mistakes, as any edits are reversible.
TIP: Remember, your username and password are case sensitive, so you must enter them exactly the same way each time you log-in to the Poultry Hub.
