The University of Minnesota's poultry production and health extension program develops educational materials and programs for the commercial poultry industry, niche producers, extension educators, youth and consumers. The program is quite broad due to the variety of audiences and number of industries.

Undergraduate Courses

  • Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) offers students the opportunity to focus on three key areas: Science, Biotechnology, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Industry and Production aspects relevant to a future in the poultry industry.

Postgraduate Courses

  • Master of Science (M.S.) the Animal Sciences Graduate Program prepare you for upper level positions in education, research, production/management, agribusiness, marketing, agriservices, and communications.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) the Animal Sciences Graduate Program prepare you for upper level positions in education, research, production/management, agribusiness, marketing, agriservices, and communications.
