For a bit of background about Poultry Hub, watch this short video.
Through focused R&D, the The Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) Chicken Meat Program supports increased sustainability and profitability in the Australian chicken meat industry. The program is funded by statutory levies paid by industry participants. The levy is matched dollar for dollar by the Australian Government up to 0.5 per cent of the industry’s gross value of farm production. Research investments are guided by the Chicken Meat R&D Advisory Committee, following the R&D Plan for the Chicken Meat Program 2004-2009. RIRDC is an Essential Participant in the Poultry Cooperative Research Centre (Poultry CRC).
