Areas of expertise

My research and research management experience includes:

  • B Rur Sc honours project (1968).
  • Ph D project (1969-73): nutrition-disease interactions in the chicken (Commonwealth Post-graduate Scholar).
  • Research on Indonesian feed ingredients during AAUCS course at Universitas Udayana, Bali (1973-74).
  • Responsible for the feed/nutrition R&D program within NRM Group.
  • Responsible for the feed/nutrition R&D program within N B Love Industries.
  • Responsible for poultry R&D management, particularly feed/nutrition R&D within Steggles Limited.
  • Steggles company representative on Goodman Fielder R&D Coordination Committee.
  • Industry member of the Australian Chicken Meat Research Committee Advisory Panel from 1980 to 1984.
  • Member of RIRDC Research and Development Advisory Committee for the Chicken Meat Program from 2008 for a three year term.
  • Bartter Enterprises representative on the Governing Board of the Australian Poultry Cooperative Research Centre (since 2003) and Deputy Chairman (since 2005). Also board representative on the CRC Executive Committee.
