The Saxony as the name implies originates from Germany. It has a yellow bill and orange legs and is a dual purpose good layer and sitter.

Appearance

The Drake -head and neck powder blue with white collar at base of neck. Breast claret frosted with white. Duck – head and neck fawn buff white streak on eyes and white throat. Body fawn – buff with some blue shading. Colouring not unlike mallard for both sexes.
