UNE’s facilities and expertise span poultry nutrition, health, welfare, behaviour, disease management, feed technology, meat and egg quality, and advanced data analytics.
Through world-class research infrastructure located across the Armidale campus, Kirby Smart Farm and Laureldale Research Farm, UNE collaborates closely with industry partners to deliver practical, evidence-based solutions for the Australian poultry sector. The University’s research capabilities are supported by specialised laboratories, commercial-scale poultry facilities, a dedicated feed mill, and expert researchers working across a broad range of poultry disciplines.
