Poultry Hub Australia invites Expressions of Interest from undergraduate and postgraduate (HDR) students seeking to gain practical, industry-based experience within the poultry sector.
These placement opportunities are designed to support the development of technical skills, foster meaningful industry engagement, and strengthen career pathways in agriculture and related disciplines.
Two types of placement will be supported
1. Undergraduate work experience. These can be for a variable period, typically a few weeks, that contribute to work experience requirements for students in various Agriculture related degrees.
2. Postgraduate internships. Internships usually last between 3 to 6 months and must be a minimum of 60 full-time equivalent days in duration. They can be full-time or part-time and may be conducted on-site, online, or in a hybrid format. They must be conducted with a single industry partner. Approval from the principal supervisor and University involved will be required.
Support Available:
Poultry Hub Australia will provide travel and accommodation support for successful applicants through scholarships valued at up to $500/week (full time equivalent) for either program subject to availability and program arrangements.
This expression of interest may lead to an invitation to submit a more detailed formal application depending on suitability and availability of industry partners.
EOI’s close on Friday, 12th June.
